Newpath Medical Inc. (“Newpath Medical,” “Newpath,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a nonprofit organization organized to promote access to affordable healthcare, healthcare navigation, education, financial assistance, and voluntary medical cost-sharing among participants who choose to support one another.

Newpath Medical is not an insurance company. Newpath Medical does not offer, sell, issue, or administer insurance policies. Participation in Newpath Medical's cost-sharing community is voluntary and does not create a contract of insurance, a promise to pay, or a legally enforceable right to reimbursement for any medical expense.

Member contributions are used to support eligible sharing requests, healthcare navigation, administrative operations, financial assistance initiatives, and other mission-related activities in accordance with Newpath Medical's governing documents, program guidelines, and applicable law.

However, no member or participant is guaranteed that any medical expense, bill, claim, service, treatment, prescription, procedure, or provider charge will be shared, reimbursed, reduced, negotiated, paid, or resolved by Newpath Medical, its members, Redirect Health, any program administrator, or any third-party partner.

Members remain personally responsible for their own medical bills and provider obligations, whether or not a sharing request is submitted, reviewed, approved, partially shared, denied, delayed, negotiated, or otherwise addressed.

Newpath Medical's voluntary cost-sharing program is not a substitute for health insurance. The program does not provide minimum essential coverage under the Affordable Care Act, does not satisfy any federal or state individual health insurance mandate, and may not provide the consumer protections required of regulated health insurance products.

Some states or jurisdictions may require residents to maintain qualifying health coverage or may impose penalties, taxes, or other consequences for failing to maintain such coverage. Participants are responsible for determining whether participation in Newpath Medical satisfies their personal, family, employer, tax, or legal obligations.

Newpath Medical does not assume insurance risk. Newpath Medical does not pool risk as an insurer, does not guarantee benefits, does not maintain statutory insurance reserves, and does not promise payment of medical expenses in exchange for premiums.

Any amounts shared toward eligible medical expenses are shared voluntarily and subject to the applicable program guidelines, available funds, administrative procedures, eligibility criteria, and any limitations or exclusions adopted by Newpath Medical.

Newpath Medical does not guarantee the availability, quality, pricing, outcome, or medical appropriateness of any service provided by a third-party provider, administrator, clinic, healthcare professional, vendor, or partner.
