What the service does, in plain terms
When a medical bill arrives that doesn't make sense (a charge you don't recognize, a code you've never seen, an amount that doesn't add up), our case navigation service is one place to start. Newpath Medical handles the initial request and connects you with our care advocacy team at Redirect Health, who reviews the bill, disputes charges that shouldn't be there, negotiates costs with providers, and walks through anything in the bill that's confusing.
You don't have to be a member of the Newpath Medical community.
How to request help
To request help, email case@newpathmed.org with a brief description of your situation. We'll respond within two business days to establish contact and gather a few basic details. We'll then connect you with our care advocacy team at Redirect Health, who handles the bill review, provider negotiation, and any detailed case information collection.
Newpath Medical's intake is light-touch: contact information and a brief summary only. Detailed case and health information is collected by Redirect Health when the case is routed.

The care advocacy team handles the review.
Redirect Health's team looks at the bill, contacts the provider where appropriate, and works to resolve the charges that shouldn't be there or negotiate the costs that can be reduced. They get back to you with what was resolved, what wasn't, and what comes next.
No membership required.
Case navigation is open to anyone, regardless of membership status. You don't have to chase down providers or wait on hold.

- Newpath Medical handles the initial request and routes the case to our care advocacy team at Redirect Health, who is our healthcare and administration partner. At intake, Newpath collects only your contact information and a brief summary of your situation. Detailed case and health information is collected by Redirect Health's team when they begin the review.
- What if my situation is an emergency?
- If you believe you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. Our service isn't a substitute for emergency care.
